Foundamentals of writing 基礎寫作班

This course focuses on writing basic sentences with pictures given to guide their thoughts. The core purpose of this course is to make sure every student has the basic necessary skills to write in the English language. Examples of some skills learned in this course would be:

 

  • When to use capital letters

  • When to use full stops

  • Joining basic ideas

  • Develop a general purpose in writing

  • Spell high frequency words with appropriate accuracy

本課程著重於寫作基本句子和用圖片去領導學生的創意寫作。這課程的主要目的是確保每一個學生都有基本的英語寫作技能和開發學生思想創意寫作，在這個過程中學會了一些寫作的技巧例如：

Brainstorming, Organizing, and Purpose 思維與架構班

This course is offered to students who are just beginning to include their creativity and imagination into their writing. This course will help students brainstorm and think about ideas to help with their writing ability. By the end of the course, students should be able to:

 

  • Use and, but, so as connectives.

  • Be able to use question marks, commas, and quotation marks to help with dialogues.

  • Brainstorm, categorize, and order ideas.

  • Begin writing in paragraphs.

  • Have a clear purpose to their writing.

This course will help students understand the elements of a good story. By understanding how each aspect of the story is helpful in its contribution, students will be able to maximize their writing effect by having a good plan, purpose, and being organized. By the end of this course, students should be able to:

 

  • Understand and apply the dramatic structure in all its aspects.

  • Write in full paragraphs with clear and organised ideas.

  • Use a variety of connectives.

  • Be able to write sentences of different lengths.

本課程將幫助學生理解一個好文章和故事的重要元素。通過多方面了解故事和文章提供幫助，學生們將能夠有一個很好的寫作構思，表達目的，和編排。通過這課程最大限度地提高他們的寫作效果。本課程結束後，學生將會提高：

Advanced Creative Writing 創意寫作班

This course is meant for students to have a solid foundation and understanding of writing. It is meant to take their writing further by including aspects of notable creative authors, studying their methods, and applying it in their own work in an attempt to elevate their writing. By the end of this course, students should have the following tools:

 

  • General guidelines to write creatively in any and all scenarios.

  • Understanding different writing styles.

  • Knowing how writing styles affect various situations.

本課程能讓學生有紮實的寫作基礎和理解。目的是通過學習著名作家的創意思想和寫作方式，並將應用在學生們的文章裡，試圖提高學生們寫作的能力。通過本課程學生可以：
